    weak sound of gears

    Hello,

    i am running my simulator with P3D v2.5 and jeehell V 45.3.
the problem is, that the sound of the gears are too weak, so i cannot feel them with the bass shakers.
If the lights wouldn´t turn i wouldn´t recognize that the gears are moving.

i checked the sound configuration of jeehell, but i couldn´t find some settings for the gears.
There is only the original .wav file of P3D available.

    thanks and Regards

    Matthias

    Hi Matthias,

You should try editing the .wav file. I have done this before for other people as I also do audio engineering. You can increase the volume and equalization with some editing software. What size is your wav file? If it can be emailed I would be happy to alter it for you and send you back a few different volume versions!

    Re: weak sound of gears

A few ways you can fix this --

    1. Gear volumes are afix to the project airbus aircraft so you have to adjust the main FSX/P3D sounds -- you can do so in the settings program.

    2. If you want direct bass ('buttkicker') shaker input interpreted directly with the aircraft you can try programs such as Opus which looks at the aircraft action and outputs the correct frequency.

    Re: weak sound of gears

    Hello,

today i tried to adjust the volume and the bass in the .wav file, and it has the vibration i want. BUT only when i play it manually.
I figured out, that the problem might not be at Jeehell, either on p3D.

I read about several Bugs with the sound of the p3D, but couldn´t find any solution.
does anybody has an idea what the reason could be?

Can i download the latest version for free, or do i have to buy it a second time?

    Thanks and BR
    Matthias
