    GoFlight GA-ATC Module Question

Hi, does anyone have experience with GoFlight's GF-ATM module? Does it have 1/4" jacks for GA headsets, or smaller jacks for PC headsets?

Correction. All of the jacks are 3.5mm. There are Headset, Mic and Speaker jacks on the front panel, and Sound Card, Mic and Speakers jacks on the rear.

And the rear jacks are also 3.5mm?

    Re: GoFlight GA-ATC Module Question

All are 3.5mm, including the rear jacks. I can't say that is true for all versions GoFlight may have made. The circuit board in my unit is labeled ATC ver 8. I purchased it in November 2015.

    Re: GoFlight GA-ATC Module Question

Thank you. Do you still need an adapter of some sort to compensate for the technical differences between the GA headset and a standard computer headset (impedance, etc), or does this module take care of that, and one would only need adapters for the different plug sizes?

    Re: GoFlight GA-ATC Module Question

Sorry, but I'm afraid I can't help you any further. My unit is still in the box and I haven't hooked it up yet, as my cockpit project is currently on hold. Perhaps you can contact GoFlight directly for answers to your questions. Good luck.

    Re: GoFlight GA-ATC Module Question

I've contacted GoFlight 2 times without a response. They are hot/cold that way. If I learn more from them, I'll be sure to share that here. Thanks again!
