Re: OEM 737NG Cockpit Section Wanted

Any tips on negotiating the price of a cockpit section or just a small component? I am quite new to this sort of thing.

Re: OEM 737NG Cockpit Section Wanted

What is your budget? That is the question you must answer for yourself, then you can decide on what to get, where to get it, and how.
Places like Universal Asset Management sell B737 series, but they do not sell NG's at all. You can find individual components from them, as well as from Airline Pilot Historical Society. Both companies are in the USA. If you can find a company in your country you would save a lot of money.
Like the other poster says, you will pay from $8k-$15k for a decent cockpit section and $20k for a really good one; however, that does not count for cutting it from the airplane body, nor count for shipping costs...
Why do you need it too be OEM? Aftermarket like Flight Deck Solutions is really close to real and costs less, when you consider it works out of the box per se (meaning you put it together and it works).
    Best Regards,
    John
