    Re: A320 FMGS B45

Hello guys, that doesn't refer to the B45 especially but maybe someone has some information on the Korry switches in the Airbus flightdeck:
Are they only momentary switches or are there some alternate/toggle Korries? I've also checked Meriweathers site but there aren't no information on mechanical function of the Korry switches.
Is there a list of all momentary and alternate/toggle Korries on the web?
    Many thanks in advance.

    Best regards
    Bon

    Re: A320 FMGS B45

    Hello,
the last days I've experienced similar crazy situations on three independent flights:
FMS incl. MCDUs and FCU were set up as normal with topcat calculated values and correct loads, takeoff, climb, cruise without problems but on two approaches suddenly the AP disconnected himself and aircraft rolled steeply to the left and nose down, on one flight the same happened at cruise altitude.
On all flights I was able to recover the aircraft but had to push and HOLD the sidestick totally to the right. AP couldn't be reactivated, too. Landings were quite difficult with the stick pushed fully to the right. FltCtrl page showed stick movements correctly, rudder trim was centered, network was connected all the time.
And on two of these flights the A/T could not be activated, too, although MCDU setup was correct...
Don't know what went wrong. Any ideas?

    Best regards
    Bon

    Hi Bon!

Can you check your yojstick again? All unexpected movement of sidesticks cause discconect AP. Are you using only one or two sidesticks? Pedals also can discconects AP. When aircraft out of limits, A/T also go down. Try to recalibrate yojstick and normaly FMGS config leavers. Anyway, aircraft must flight in "raw data", without MCDU or FCU settings.

    regards
    Igor

    Re: A320 FMGS B45

    Hi Igor,
thanks for replying. Yes, I'm using two sidesticks but I didn't move one of them in cruise or in approach until the AP has disconnected. I've checked sidestick and pedal calibrations in FMGS Config immediately after each occurence, all of them had been without anomalies. The A/T disfunction can't be identified since it was only one occurence so far. I'll observe this and report.
    Have a good day.

    Best regards
    Bon
