    Re: A320 FMGS B45

Hi JL -- with FMGS configure it is possible to set a null zone at the detents for the throttle lever (idle, climb, flex, toga, etc). However on manual flying (auto thrust disconnect) and controlling the thrust of the aircraft, I notice the power will move back and forth (although thrust is set at one setting) -- this is because the axis of the joystick card -- Leo Bodnar is very sensitive.

Is it possible to also set a null zone when using manual thrust?

    Thank you.

    Ben

Not too sure - it is the real pot attached to the genuine throttle. There is only a little bit of noise with the pot.

So do a test and connect 1 or 2 10k potis to to card and use them for the throttel. I am using 10k potis with this card for dimming displays and dont have these issues.

How old is the throttle? I had have a view months ago some problems with 10k poti of an jostick. Same problems u discribed. So maybe the poti of your TQ is damaged.

Hope this would help you to determine where the problem is.

    Regards Marco

    Re: A320 FMGS B45

I think I will leave it as it is. There are only mild aberrations (noise). I do not want to cut the original pot wires and would prefer to leave it as it is as I am directly wiring to the canon plugs.
