    Re: Psxseecon freezing

    Hi Blake,
    Another thing to pay attention to are potentiometer (value) variables, such as 1007 and 1008. You should round the A/D value before you put it in the SIOC variable, otherwise jitter may cause lots of values to be sent to PSXseecon.

    As an example my 1_Pot270.txt file from the PSXCockpit folder in PSXseecon:

    Code:
    ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
    //
    // Title: PSX 270 degrees Potentiometer support
    //
    //             ASSUMPTION, PosL=1, POsC=128, PosR=255
    //
    //             Output range 0 .. 4713
    //
    //   PSXseecon
    //   version:  1.5.0
    //
    //   Date:     15 April 2015
    //
    //   Author:   Nico Kaan
    //             The Netherlands
    //             www.lekseecon.nl
    //
    // ************************************************************************

    Var 9000 name Pot270Val

    Var 9001 name Pot270 Link SUBRUTINE
    {
      L0 = &Pot270 - 1
      L0 = L0 * 18.486  // equals 4714 / 255
      &Pot270Val = ROUND L0
    }

    // eof
    ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
    and here is an example of it's use in the WXRadar:
    Code:
    Var 9000 name POT_Tilt Link IOCARD_ANALOGIC Device 0 Input #1, PosL 1, PosC 128, PosR 255
    {
      CALL &Pot270 &POT_Tilt
      &TiltCp = &Pot270Val
    }

    Var 3996 Static name TiltCp   // 0 .. 4713
    Regards,
    Nico

    Hi Blake,
    2.0.7 is available with better detection of networking problems. Maybe you should try your single file with this version (recommended).
    Cheers,
    Nico

    Re: Psxseecon freezing

    Hi Kiek,

    no joy

    I have been testing removing variables with no luck.
    I reduced the AD frequency up down no change.

    From the start of PSXseecon and Aerowinx updates something brought it on maybe around 6-9 months ago.

    Cheers,

    Blake
