    Hardware connect help please

I have changed my FDT interface cards for FDS so ready now to connect hardware.
For the FDS cards I can pull up the list of switches and LED's, also the list of functions but it is not clear how to link them.
If I press a switch it lights up in the list. I can select the function but don't know how to link them. Tried double clicking, dragging, selecting and clicking "save" but have not got them linked. Can't find anything in manuals relating to hardware connecting. Can someone help me please?
Second point, I already have a number of switches working through SIOC, presumably I can run SIOC in parallel with FMGS and not have to change them over? Similarly I have encoders, potentiometers and switches working direct in to FSUIPC, can I leave all those alone?

    Re: Hardware connect help please

    Barry,

IIT creator is relatively simple I think? Once you selected the switch or LED in the left most list, you select the function in the right most one. Then click apply below the function list. Then the SW or LED name should change in the left list?
Regarding SIOC hardware, did you use SIOC creator or did you make your own script? If you used only one method or should still work.
FSUIPC inputs should still work as well, though most analog functions are not assignable using FSUIPC n my soft (sticks throttles etc).

    Regards
    JL

    Re: Hardware connect help please

Found it thanks, the apply/delete boxes were off the bottom of my screen, always a problem working on the screens mounted in the simulator. So now I have switches and LEDs working and have started engines and taken off all using hardware. SIOC inputs seem to be working OK and analogue functions all working, joysticks, throttles etc. On to the MCDU's today!
