    New to the forum

    Hi all.

I'm a fairly IT literate person, 48, married with 2 kids and have my own mancave in a house in the UK. I live near the Lake district (NW of Manchester) on the coast.
I am in the process of starting a build of a flight simulator in my mancave. It will be based on the 737 for realism, but will also be used for other aircraft (though not as realistically)

I mostly fly in P3d v3.1 now, but still use FSX and XP 10. I also use the Oculus Rift DK2 for Gliding in an ASK21, as well as Elite Frontier.

I have just taken receipt of an older OpenCockpits MCP and Efis unit, and received a 0836X board so I can start to practice doing stuff.

the first thing I need to understand is how SIOC now interfaces with P3D and the OpenCockpits MCP.

That's probably it for an introduction.
