    Joystick Roll/Pitch sensitivity (AP/FBW)

    Hi JL,

I am wondering what is this box use for? I have tried to set sensitivity at Minimum or Maximum but my joystick sensitivity is unchanged.
    Thanks,
    Vu

Do not touch these settings. Only configure your joystick from fmgs_configure.

    Re: Joystick Roll/Pitch sensitivity

Hi Ben, thanks for your reply, yes I kept it default now, just want to ask the function of this box only.
fmgs_configure only has dead-zone setting and no sensitivity setting

    Re: Joystick Roll/Pitch sensitivity

The sensitivity should not really be touched.
It should only make a non linear output from your joystick input. Really, I should such remove that as it should not be used...

    Hi JeanLuc,

I made tests of FMGS with real Airbus pilot 2 days ago and his only complaint was the unrealistcally low side stick sensivity in pitch and roll. The only way, how to change it to more real behaviour was just use these two mentioned sliders and to lower dead zones
Does it mean, that sensitivity does not mean sensitivity? How non-linear output affect the sidestick behaivour?
Is any other way, how to edit sidetick behaviour?

    Thanks

    Jiri

    Re: Joystick Roll/Pitch sensitivity

I just updated A320FMGS_B41.2.exe August 10th, It seems that JL had some changes to help reduce joystick's sensitivity.?! Yesterday I had made a manual landing to Ho Chi Minh City and roll/pitch of my Logitech Attack moving smoothly as expected.

JL Could you please confirm on this?
I will do more test circuit flight tonight when back home.

    Thanks JL,

Haha Thanks JL, Weird !! I have made some touch and go yesterday, and both my Logitech Attack 3 and Logitech Xtreme 3D Pro were moving very smoothly, null zone stay the same as before (10%)
Not like previous versions, just a small input and VS went down to -1500 - 2000 fpm on final approach

P/S: If you have an option for adjusting joystick's sensitivity, that would be GREAT !!! Thanks bro !
