    Saitek TPM

Hi I'm new to this site and I'm considering building a Cessna flight sim. I've been looking at the Saitek TPM, however on Amazon and other sites it is listed as out of stock. Does any one know if it is still being produced? Any recommend vendors for Saitek hardware?

    Thanks!

Welcome to the site! Take a look at this thread, where Damo details how you can make your own TPM for cheap:

    Re: Saitek TPM

    Hello,

if You still wanna rather buy the control instead of building it yourself, I can maybe give you some infrmation about it: I have it and i like it. It is a little bit hard to move but this is realistic, in a little plane like a Cessna there are lots of vibrations. it reports its position very well and exact. The only thing I miss is that in the real plane you could also twist the levers to make fine adjustments to the position.

The switches are ok, for programming little functions like carb heat or lights. I use spad.next for the switches and normal control configuration within the simulator for the axes.

all in all I like it and it is a nice controll for me.

According to saitek's page it is available.

hope this helps you a little bit

    Regards

    Markus
