Arduino Uno, MonsterMoto 2DOF motion seat

    Hi,

    I need advise.
My 2 DOF motion seat with Arduino sketch and FSX is working.
However- the program stops every coupple of minutes. A comment appears saying some problem with background running. I press Continue and Pause in FSX and it resumes for several minutes again.
The FSX alone works OK. So I ssuspect either the Link2FS software or the Sketch.
    Your thoughts?

    Dovale

I wonder if this my be your problem? That you may need to increase the Arduino buffer. Follow the link on here and try it.
Also please report back if this helped you, for future reference for all.
    I quote from Jim's Page..

    "Serial data flow ,,,, abp="541">
This project recieves a lot of data from FSX especially in the “refresh” cycle ,, and it can push the Arduino’s serial receiver buffer beyond it’s limit. abp="544"> What happens is it will chop off any serial data that is in excess of the buffer limit. You can see the affects of this when you first connect and the radio might light up fine but has some of my identifiers (= or ? etc) in the text screen for some readouts (ADF or xponder) ,, or in the case of the Mega ,,, same thing or the gear indication wont indicate if the wheels are down when first connected. So read this ,,, abp="548"> http://www.jimspage.co.nz/serial_buffer_mod.htm abp="552"> I adjusted mine to 64 and 256 abp="557">

All was fine then. abp="560"> After editing it ,, you need to recompile and load your INO into the Arduino again. abp="563">
    Hope this helps

    Thanks Jennie,

I changed the file accordingly and could not verify due to the following mistake:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\hardware\arduino\cores\arduino/main.cpp:40: undefined reference to `setup'
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\hardware\arduino\cores\arduino/main.cpp:43: undefined reference to `loop'

I'm using windows 7 and Arduino ver 1.0.6

Re: Arduino Uno, MonsterMoto 2DOF motion seat

I purchased the arduino uno board from amazon. Arduino is my favourite board. I have done the project on image processing using this. http://www.bestoninternet.com/comput...o-starter-kit/
