Hey i had the same problem.
Additional to that i couldn't get the map to show anything. The solution for me was to reinstall the ND and PFD client in another direction. Don't ask me why that did the job. I guess that had something to do with the navdata. http://www.mycockpit.org/forums/showthread.php?t=29010

Hello JL,

I am having issues with the mcdu when inserting a flight plan. I have flown this flight like 4 times with no issues.

The flight is from kmco to kbos. The sid from kmco is the mcoy9 with trans sav. From sav the route goes to airway j55 then chs to j79. From here we use trans jkf and star robuc1 for the arrival at kbos.

When inserting the plan i go to sav and select airways and insert the plan with the 3 airwas mentioned above and it does not enter them. It only enters airway chs and then orl followed by another orl.

I have deleted the .bin files, reinstalled the navdata and again recreated the .bin files with no luck. I reinstalled fmgs 38.5 and updated it again with no luck. I have been at it for 3 hours and nothing. I am running everything as administrator. Any help would be appreciated. Sorry if posted in the wrong section, i just think its a display issue since i am not inserting the 2 orl points on the flight plan

yesterday I've installed the actual 38.5-exe on the system followed by auto-updates, then I've deleted the old .bin files from the navdata folders as described, started the FMGS server, waited to get the new .bin files and copied them in every navdata folder.
While programming the MCDU, I've also got the message "MCDU Display Error - Please Report" for several times. Mostly when I tried to delete "FPLN DISCONTINUITY" but not always. Navdata is up-to-date. Any suggestions or solutions?

did anybody find a solution? (As the former suggestions did'nt really help).
In my case I connot reach thr PROG and the PERF-Page because I'm getting the error-message!

Hello Guys,

today I met with Mario, another Jeehell user, and he had the same problem with the MCDU message. We were able to solve this by using my AControls.cfg and JoySW.cfg files.

I have attached both, so feel free to download and try it out.
