    SIOC network speed

    Hello,

I have three Open Cockpits dc servo motor cards running 16 engine gauges for my BAe146 platform.

The system works great, however sometimes I get a couple of the gauges (usually engine 2 TGT and engine 4 fuel flow), "lag", or do not move for a couple of seconds during thrust increase/decrease.

I have done some trouble shooting and came to the conclusion that it must be the USB network getting overloaded I have all three cards tied to a separate USB (powered) Hub.

My question is this....can I increase this transfer speed in anyway to alleviate or eliminate this gauge lag?

    Thanks in advance

Have you tried to put them in one single loop? So use only the ports of a single hub? Possibly that speeds things up, because USB is a serial connection basically.
