Thanks Jim! I am not happy with the color, but other than that, so far so good! It will take the 5" monitor 3 weeks to get here, so I have plenty of time to work on it! I used the OC assembly tutorial as a guide for making the key tops and bottom pieces where the switches go. I hope to have it all wired up and backlit this week.

A friend just pointed out that the "K" key is 3 mm to far to the right! How did that happen? Oh well, have to make a new one!

Re: New A320 MCDU Build Pictures

can anyone suggest where to start with interfacing this to Jeheel's software? I have an OC USB keys board, and someone suggested using SIOC to set it up. I sort of shelved all of my other OC boards, but figured it would make a good interface for the MCDU. I haven't used the OC stuff since I mothballed the sim a few years ago. I still have the whole system, USB main card interface, 3 main boards, displays cards, etc. So far I have found the Arduino / Link2FS route is more to my liking. Also, anyone interested in attempting a MCDU build like mine is welcome to a set of panels once I have them perfect. I guess a $30 or so plus postage will cover it. I hope to have a good pic of the backlighting soon.
