Toggle switches for Cessna 172 Lights. SPST or SPDT?

    Hi,

Can someone tell me if I should use SPST or SPDT toggle switches for my C172 panel for fuel pump, bcn, lights and pitot heat?

I will be using opencockpits interface cards if that makes any difference.

    thanks.

You would use spst switch because these functions are either on or off.

You could also use SPDT if you are using a pulse generator with the switch. That way the sim will know what position the switch is in.

    Thanks.

I purchased some SPST switches to go with my opencockpits io cards so I will see how I go.
