FSUIPC and PMDG Offsets not working

    Hi all

Im hoping someone can help me out with this problem im having. Im building a home cockpit, and am currently trying to use offsets for the PMDG 737 NGX.

By no means am i smart in this subject and trying to read all of the info from the FSUIPC documents is very confusing. I have the offset list for the 737ngx. FSUIPC recognizes when i move a toggle switch. The battery in this case. But no matter how i enter in the offsets, the switch won't work.

please tell me what im doing wrong here:

for the switch i enter in the following info

    control sent when button pressed:
offset byte Set (from drop down menu)
    Offset: 6475
    parameter: 0 (off)

    control sent when button released:
    offset byte set
    offset: 6475
    parameter: 2 (on)

The darn switch just won't work. I got it to work using a macro, but some of the overhead switches won't work with macros. i figure if i can figure out this one, i can figure out the others too. I can't figure it out (

    Hi,

Try www.flightsim4fun.com if you try to make a B737 HomeCockpit based on PMDG NGX.

Thanks for the info ! Question.. It looks like that website is specifically geared towards opencockpit modules and/or soic interface boards. im not using any of them right now. I've basically hacked up multiple joysticks and soldered switched onto the joystick PCB's. Will that driver allow me to program the switches for the NGX?

Hi, you are right, it is for Opencockpits hardware. I didn't read you question good enough.

But, if you want to solder up your own hardware with and switches the Opencockpits range of IOCARD is an inexpensive and quality wise a good choice.
The sioc scripting is quite easy to understand and do.
