    Link2fs and generic AutoPilot with Arduino Mega

    First thankx for this forum ! I'm a newbee and I want to build a generic AutoPilot : Course-HDG-ALT-SPD-V/S using rotaries.

    I've solve (THX to Jim) with Link2FS 90% of my project but when I try to test my code with A320 Wilco the ALT rotary doesn't work any ideas ?

    Thanx for reply !

    Hi JPP094! Others will have to back me up here, but I think the Wilco planes don't use the standard offsets for things like that. Try one of the included planes.

    you will have to look for the wilco SDK to find the offsets i had to do the same for the PMDG 737.

    Re: Link2fs and generic AutoPilot with Arduino Mega

    Hi all,

    it's done !

    with a Lua script I read and write the data !

    This is the script if somebody needs , it increment and decrement automaticly the alti (to 1 800 ft and 1 000 ft) on the FCU... now I must interface it with the rotary swith of my hardware..

    -- JPP094 this LUA script adress the FCU wilco Alt Thx to Pete Dowson for the initial script !

    memalt = 0

    while 1 do

    altl = ipc.readStruct(0x05648,"1UB") -- Frist byte for alti
    alth = ipc.readStruct(0x05649,"1UB") -- Second byte for alti
    alt = alth * 256 + altl

    ipc.display("altl= "..altl.."\nalth= "..alth.."\nalt= "..alt) -- Display data

    ipc.sleep(1000)

    if memalt == 0 then

    alt = alt + 100
    else

    alt = alt - 100
    end
    alth = 0
    altmem = alt

    while (altmem >= 256) do

    alth = alth + 1
    altmem = altmem - 256

    end

    altl = alt - ( alth * 256)

    ipc.writeUB(0x05648,altl) -- Write first byte
    ipc.writeUB(0x05649,alth) -- Write second byte

    if alth == 7 then

    memalt = 1

    end

    if alth == 3 then

    memalt =0
    end

    end
