Jim, problem with software re/ simconnect event? Probably not, but....

I probably mistitled a previous post - anyway, no response on my question. I am trying to send a command to FSX to simulate the G1000 PDF NAV 1-2 button - the one that controls the cursor(blue box outline) that the knob is controlling. I tried A44, but that didn't work. What is the correct simconnect string? -dave

I actually had a play with this Dave ,,,, but there didn't seem to be a simconnect code for it and there didn't seem to be an assigned keystroke for it either.

I think the only thing left is using the 'Mousetrap' thingy in FSUIPC ,, and I'm afraid I know nothing about that either.

Hopefully some-one else may be able to point you in the right direction.

Good luck with it Dave ,,,, Jim.

Re: Jim, problem with software re/ simconnect event? Probably not, but....

I was afraid of that, but thanks for checking it out Jim. I have some other inquires out on this in other forums - not on the link2fs code, but on the simconnect event, if any, and I'll let you know if I get any answer.

Otherwise, everything is going fine with my test panel - I have gear switch, gear annunciator (bicolor LED), encoder with 5 mode select buttons (NAV1, NAV2, HDG, ALT, CRS), other toggles and momentary switches and LEDs working well with a mega and v6f. Great code. -Dave
