    Re: SIOCs for iFly

    Hi Mariodantas,

    I am also in the process of building my cockpit using SIOC with the IFly737. Until now I have concentrated on building an overhead and MIP panel in a shell, everything home-made. With SIOC and IFlytoFSUIPC until now I only did some simple things like landing gear indicators and the most important switches on the overhead. Your post gives me a headstart in doing the rest! So thank you for this very useful stuff. I would appreciate it if you were willing to PM me for the other scripts you have already made.
    Regards,

    Jan

    Hi fellows

    Little sioc about HOW TO CALIBRATE A GAUGE:

    // ======================================================================
    // APU EGT
    // ======================================================================
    Var 1810, Value 0 // APU Egt Servo MIN
    Var 1811, Value 1023 // APU Egt Servo MAX
    Var 1812, Value 1000 // APU Egt FSUIPC range (from 0c to 1000c so 1000)
    Var 1813, Link FSUIPC_IN, Offset $949D, Length 2 // APU Egt
    {
    L0 = V1811 - V1810 // SERVO RANGE
    L1 = 1000 // FS GAUGE RANGE
    L2 = L1 / L0 // FS GAUGE / SERVO GAUGE TO GET RATE
    L0 = L2 * V1813 // RATE * SERVO MIN POS TO GET INCREMENT
    L1 = V1810 + L0 // SERVO MIN PLUS INCREMENT
    V1814 = L1 // SERVO FINAL VALUE
    }

    Var 1814 // APU Egt SERVO

    Yeah a really good code snippet.

    I get a simple question:

    How can we get the FSUIPC or IOCP min and max value from an offset ? ex. -32768 to 32768 ?? will be great to calibrate the gauges

    Re: SIOCs for iFly

    Well, this is easy to understand, variable names added:

    // ================================================================
    // APU EGT GAUGE
    //
    // You have to set SRVMIN, SRVMAX and IPCRNG, that's all
    // ================================================================
    Var 1800, Name APU_EGT_SRVMIN, Value 0 // APU Egt Servo min position
    Var 1801, Name APU_EGT_SRVMAX, Value 1023 // APU Egt Servo max position
    Var 1802, Name APU_EGT_IPCRNG, Value 1000 // APU Egt FSUIPC range (in APU EGT case its range goes from 0 to 1000 celsuis)
    Var 1803, Name APU_EGT_IPCVAL, Link FSUIPC_IN, Offset $949D, Length 2 // APU Egt IPC Value
    {
    L0 = &APU_EGT_SRVMAX - &APU_EGT_SRVMIN // SERVO RANGE
    L1 = &APU_EGT_IPCRNG / L0 // FS GAUGE / SERVO GAUGE TO GET RATE
    L0 = L1 * &APU_EGT_IPCVAL // RATE * SERVO MIN POS TO GET INCREMENT
    L1 = &APU_EGT_SRVMIN + L0 // SERVO MIN PLUS INCREMENT
    &APU_EGT_SRVPOS = L1 // SERVO FINAL VALUE
    }
    Var 1804, Name APU_EGT_SRVPOS // APU Egt servo position

    Re: SIOCs for iFly

    Hi Mariodantas,

    Thanx for APU ET script, m exactly in this stag for Gauges servo set up. Do you have any scripts TEMP, DUCT PRESS, FULE TEMP etc for overhead?

    I have over my head another issues
    1. Calibrating gauges and servo values
    2. Not functional servos. It looks that they burned but they are only in MAX position and I cant to bring them to neutral position

    Any idea highly appreciated

    Rgds
