You can power up the fire panel without any power supply, just through the usb. (its not recommended but you can do it for test)
To do that you have to close the SW1 at the interior panel, i think with this, the hardware usb will be recognized.
Then when you got the Power supply yo can open the SW1 again, and connect the power to the J2 pin. The J3 and j4 pins are only if you have a pedestal board and you will connect the fire panel through the pedestal board.

Hi tote_320. I received the power adapter finally by mail. Connected the unit and still the USB is not recognized. SIOC sees nothing in the devices window and apparently Windows doesn't see that USB device. It's such a shame to buy something and wait so long and not have it work. Why do customers have to go through this? It's really frustrating. I'm going to send Opencockpits an email. I'm so disappointed.
