PA A320 liveries
Hi guys,
I have a few liveries installed but there doesnt seem to be much that works with the PA A320...many are the IAE model so the textures dont show up properly... i am looking for just common carriers like Jetstar and Air New Zealand but none seem to work... is there any special way to get the textures to work other than renaming or manipulating existing CFM textures?

Re: PA A320 liveries
Hey, i know you posted this a long time ago, but if your still looking for liveries let me know. I have the 2 files for the jetstar livery and i can point you in the right direction for getting the liveries to work with the a320-214. I just finished like 10 liveries for jetblue. If you still need help, send me a pm....

Re: PA A320 liveries
Hi, I am also looking for Australia, New Zealand liveries.
I did download Jetstar liveries in the past but I had texture issues, as Vonduck as mentioned above because they are fitted for IAE engines.Soarbywire - Airbus Flight Simulation and Engineering | Jeehell FMGS - Free professional A320 avionics software for the cockpit enthusiast.

Re: PA A320 liveries
I overcame this issue.... i have the cfm engines livery for the airbus a320-214. Let me see if i can compose the 2 files you need to make the liveries work with jeehells aircraft.
I took this screenshot on flight for my VA. As you can see, the engine texture is fine. Send me a pm, i will give you me email address and you can email me the livery. I will work on it and send it back. It is the least i can do. I would really like to be able to provide some liveries for users, maybe it can be my way of giving back since i like this aircraft so much.

Re: PA A320 liveries
Hey guys,
I sent you both an air new zeland livery. I did this real fast to see if it would work for you guys (not sure which version your using (fsx or p3d 2.x)). If it does, please let me know so i can go back and finish it. Once i hear that it works correctly i will do the the other 2 liveries you requested.
Thanks in advance for your feedback.
Frank

Re: PA A320 liveries
Thank you Frank, testing right now with P3D 2.5 and it works fine!
Here is a cfg file I created for the livery:
[fltsim.1]
title=Airbus A320-200 CFM New Zealand
sim=pa320-cfm56-2
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=NZ-OAB
kb_checklists=
kb_reference=
atc_id=NZ-OAB
atc_airline=Wagon Air
atc_flight_number=8935
atc_heavy=0
ui_manufacturer="Airbus"
ui_type="A320-200"
ui_variation=New Zealand
ui_typerole="Commercial Airliner"
ui_createdby="Project Airbus"
atc_parking_types=GATE , RAMP
atc_parking_codes=AWQ
description=Project Airbus A320\n\n\n\n\n\n
Should we keep this thread updated with direct links to download the compatible PA liveries, and do you mind if I put it up on the website?

Re: PA A320 liveries
Hey Guys,
Sorry for the delay in getting these out to you. I had to take my wife and daughter to Amtrak. So now to the liveries....
I have uploaded them to a google drive account just for liveries. It has 3 right now but i will add more as other users request them. I will update this post with new links.
***Installation***
You will need to edit the aircraft.cfg file located in the Jeehell aircraft folder (in flight_sim_folder\simobjects\airplanes) and add the following (thanks OmniAtlas)
[fltsim.XX]
title=Airbus A320-200 CFM Airline Name Here
sim=pa320-cfm56-2
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=TEXTURE NAME
kb_checklists=
kb_reference=
atc_id=NZ-OAB
atc_airline=Wagon Air
atc_flight_number=8935
atc_heavy=0
ui_manufacturer="Airbus"
ui_type="A320-200"
ui_variation=Airline Name Here
ui_typerole="Commercial Airliner"
ui_createdby="Project Airbus"
atc_parking_types=GATE , RAMP
atc_parking_codes=AWQ
description=Project Airbus A320\n\n\n\n\n\n
You will need to make sure that [fltsim.XX] in in ascending order. In other words, if you only have jeehells livery, the next entry would be [fltsim.1] and so on. You will also need to change the title (where it says "Airline Name Here"), texture ("Where it says "TEXTURE NAME", this will be the name of the texture folder after the ".", for example, texture.123 would be texture=123) and ui_variation (where it says "Airline Name Here"). Optionally, you can also change the atc_id, but not required
