Zilog eZ80 instead Arduino because faster.

I found an Zilog eZ80 evaluation board with 60 pins that runs at 50 MHz with up to 1.75MB memory comparing to Arduino Ethernet with 14 pins that runs at 16 MHz with just 32KB memory.

I thinking to choose this: http://www.digikey.com/product-detai...671-ND/1678744

Is that just to plug in Ethernet port and programming from X-Plane SDK plugin to access the 60 pins ?

None of the Arduino software will work on that board. Faster isn't necessarily better. You might want to check out the Arduino Due or Mega if you want more speed or I/O. g.
