    Question Need help with SIOC/Lekseecon configuration of OC modules (MCP v3 + EFIS)

    Hi Nico ... I am back,

    My wife gave me a nice present since I am a nice guy… I really am . So I've got OC MCP V3 and EFIS modules.

    I did try to install modules myself following the previous (ATC & COM) topic but I did not come far yet...

    What I've already done so far:

    1. Updated Lekseecon to version 10.1 (I still got 10.1b).

    2. I’ve run the setup_ocm.exe. Unfortunately I’ve got the same error as at the time of ATC and COM modules installation... None of the OC Modules could not be found.

    3. In the SIOC.ini file I have line ... CONFIG_FILE=ocm.lst from the previous installation

    4. I added line ... MASTER=1,15,1,111 in the SIOC.ini so it reads now

    MASTER=5,8,1,83
    MASTER=3,11,1,88
    MASTER=1,15,1,111

    5. In the ocm.lst file I have these lines...

    SIOC_Scripts\1_Digit.txt
    SIOC_Scripts\5.11_XPDR_ATC737.txt
    SIOC_Scripts\5.9_COMM737.txt

    ... which are for the ATC and COM modules.

    My question is... which files do I need to add to ocm.lst to get MCP working?

    I see files in ..\Program Files (x86)\lekseecon\mcp767 folder which I assume are the needed files.
    Do I need to copy all the files to the ..\Program Files (x86)\IOCards\SIOC\SIOC_Scripts folder and add the paths in the ocm.lst file?

    I would appreciate your assistance very much

    Thank you
    Mladen

    No, you should take all the files that are listed in lekseecon\ocm\mcpv3\module.lst:
    Code:
    cockpit767\1_Digit.txt
    cockpit767\6.1_ColdAndDark.txt
    mcp767\3.3_MCP_Generic.txt
    ocm\mcpv3\3.3_MCP737v3_ExtraButtons.txt
    ocm\mcpv3\3.3_MCP737v3_FDLights.txt
    ocm\mcp\3.3_MCP737_OutIAS.txt
    ocm\mcp\3.3_MCP737_VOR1Crs.txt
    ocm\mcp\3.3_MCP737_VOR2Crs.txt
    and for EFIS you should take the files listed in lekseecon\ocm\efis\module.lst, which is actually just one
    Code:
    ocm\efis\3_EFIS737.txt
    About the MASTER statements: EFIS is logical DEVICE 1 and MCP logical device 2 (you can check that too in the scripts where you will find DEVICE n statements).
    MCPv3 has card code 15 and EFIS has 7.
    So for MCPv3 it should read MASTER=2,15,1,111

    Easy is it not, you do not need the setup_ocm at all!
    But strange that it still does not detect any modules at your PC...

    Regards,
    Nico

    Re: Need help with SIOC/Lekseecon configuration of OC modules (MCP v3 + EFIS)

    Hi Nico,
    Tanks for your reply and suggestions.
    All modules are finally working fine. Now I have to get a bit handy using modules during the flight. I did notice that some functions of MCP and EFIS do behave slightly different then when using the same functions direct in the cockpit. As soon as I have some more experience I'll pop-up again with com questions and findings.

    And now is the time to seriously focus on reading and understanding Lekseecon Manual since I will need it while building my 767 cockpit.

    Thanks again for your support,

    Gr, Mladen
