Hi Guys,
Can any one please help me with what type of aircraft this cockpit came from.
One of the instruments has a label at the back ,,, B U AERO US NAVY TACHOMETER MARK V CONTRACT NUMBER LL94498 PIONEER INSTRUMENT, Bendix corporation New Jersey USA.
Hope someone can help.

Re: What cockpit instrument panel is this?
Hi Guys, I am a new member to the forum and its surprising to see that there has been some 75 views and no clues. This must be a hard one to crack. The only thing that I can think of is that it came from a De Havilland Tiger Moth which the Australian RAAF had during that time. After doing some investigations myself the instruments dated 38 & 42 are typical for this type of plane and its vintage. Although the shape especially the top "L & R TURN SIDE SLIP" gauge sticks out over and above of what a typical Tiger Moth set up looks like. I really don't know but guessing and was hoping someone could assist with some expert thoughts.
Your help is much appreciated.
Thanks

Re: What cockpit instrument panel is this?
It's probably off a twin engined thing as it's got 2 RPM gauges.
I had a fleeting thought it could be off an old Havilland Dominie ,, but no ,, they were a bit different.
The Yanky gauge in it may or may not mean something ?? but it certainly looks pre or early WWII.
Sorry nothing else pops into the brain at this stage.
Happy hunting ,, Jimwww.jimspage.co.nz/intro.htm
All this and Liz still loves me ! !

Re: What cockpit instrument panel is this?
Thanks for your contribution Jim, its a hard one with so many views you would think it would have been sorted by now.
This is not going to be easy and could be the end of this post.
Thanks again,

Re: What cockpit instrument panel is this?
No , this is the first time posting by me. I am not aware if this was posted previously on any other forums.
The person I bought it from has told me its hasn't been shown on the internet.
Have you a picture of what you mean if this is familiar to you.
Cheers
