    Hello,
If I'm not mistaken, there are no simconnect codes or fsuipc codes to treat master caution (and master warning)
so you need to manage your own master caution/warning light
ie: if warnings in panels >0 then set master caution=1

Re: Master Caution warning light and Reset Button

Thanks for the reply Ryan, you will have to excuse my ignorance but I am very new arduino and a lot of the code I have used has been thanks to jims Link2FS and a friend over at hanger45.net, I am still getting to grips with the concepts of my build and so far my main focus has been on designing the realistic MIP & Glare, I understand that some functions of the lear are not functionable in FSX and that 3rd party addons are required, Im sorry I dont understand what you mean by if warnings in panels >0 then set master caution=1.

please can you elaborate or helpme out with some stuff it would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

Re: Master Caution warning light and Reset Button

    Hello Michael,
I wanted to say that there is no easy way to make a working master caution or master warning light because fsx doesn't have simconnect code or fsuipc code to do that (like gear, or lights of the plane etc...)
In my case, I don't know which warnings trigger a master warning (I'm not a pilot, lol) so I'm not able to really help you, just put you on the path
You must make a list of differents warnings that can lit master warning. If one (or more) of the item in the list is on, set master_warning light on
After, look at annunciators in link2fs. do these warnings can trigger master warning ? if yes, it'll be easy! Tick and modifying values to your wishes and in the arduino make a simple detection of '/A1' witch acts as "master warning" of link2fs annunciator
you can study "multi_annun.pde" Jim's example

Re: Master Caution warning light and Reset Button

FYI Mike- for the Lear if you end up using Jet45 like the rest of us, Jason already programmed in a custom offset for the cation/warn/acknowledge (73D5) the matches the Lear systems. It was necessary so the chime and lights would match the information shown on the EICAS.

You could do it manually in code but it likely won't be easy.

    Cheers
