Very basic question - getting started

I am trying for the 1st time to use Lekseecon with FSUIPC but somehow cannot get started.
    - using Win7 64
    - installed ver 8.4 as admin in same partition as my FS9. (Tried the default location as well)
    - created ini file for a few switches (say fuel cutoff left: 505)
    - assigned phys switches to correct offset in FSUIPC (in this case byte in 91F9: Cx010091F9)
    - Select LDS767 THEN run Lekseecon (as admin). Shows "running".
    - When I flick the switch I see the value toggle in the FSUIPC log but nothing on my FS panel.

    What am I missing?
Is the log supposed to track changes after the "running..." message?

    Thanks for your help.

What program are you using to connect your phys switch to FSUIPC? This does not look right to me, should it not be Cx91F9?

No, errors only. From the log my conclusion is that the lekseecon part is running fine.

Re: Very basic question - getting started

Thanks, Nico, for your quick reply.
I have edited the fsuipc.ini file directly but I obtain the same code when using the FSUIPC dialog box to assign the switch. The 0100 prefix in Cx010091F9 specifies the byte format for the desired value. It is necessary.
Indeed I see the correct value 0 or 1 being deposited and remaining in offset 91F9 (using the FSUIPC logging utility) until I flick the switch again.

Next, I'll try with a few analog variables

Update: I have tried a RW variable: MCP VOR freq. The data flows OK from the SDK to FSUIPC, i.e. the offset shows the correct value whenever I change the freq on the FS panel. No go in the other direction. A new value in the offset has no effect in FS.

    Cheers.
