    EGPWS Terain Data

Hello There, I was reading the "advanced User Setup" 3rd chapter regarding EGPWS terrain data. It is all about downloading a huge ammount of data to then create a database.

My question is: Is it possible to use the elevation data from P3D? I mean, if it is already there, Why bring another one? I remember when setting up prosim737 in my other sim, that was one of the ways to setup it. Thanks.

Perhaps, but I don't think the elevation data from P3D is always correct?

Professional sim software such as Aerowinx also extract their data from a different source.
