    It has been quite awhile!!!

Hello everyone!! I have not been on this forum in over 3 years now. I originally bowed out from my build for financial reasons, (bad economy, no job, etc.) I have since retired and am going to get started again. To start, has anyone seen, or used the Oculus Rift? I have one, and I must say, the immersion and 3D effect is quite nice. You can get information on the unit here: www.oculusvr.com. I wish there was a way to show everyone what it can and does do, it is quite amazing. You can fly in the 3D world with it on, but for now it is very difficult, if not near impossible to tune radios and other chores necessary in the cockpit. In the future, this may change. If there are any questions on the unit, post here and I will do my best to give you the information that I have so far.

Great to have you back and I hope you this time get your project flying.

About Oculus Rift there have been a few comment in here - do a search.
A few of us are waiting for may be a more suitable product: CastAR.
