    Tiller bar project

I am finally working on my tiller bar. It's not as fancy as I originally planned (it's really pretty ugly) but am experimenting with the springs. So far it centers ok but am next going to attach my hall effect sensor and see how accurate my center point is in terms of voltage and how wide my dead zone in the center would need to be. If it works well enough I will be happy even though it looks like crap from the back. I may need to put a more controlled centering mech on this. Anyway here are a few snap shots.

Here is the side panel it will go inside of.

Tiller wheel from some sort of older Boeing but close enough for me.

I know someone who used the innards of a gaming steering wheel and it worked really well. Sprung return and USB plug n play!
