    Home cockpit radiation...

I was wondering if anyone had the chance or is able to value the level of radiation inside a home cockpit. I mean so many PCs, monitors, electromagnetic cirquits and. Not to mention projectors or many other parts in between....

i would appreciate your thoughts in this.

    thanks

    Re: Home cockpit radiation...

While I don't have any numbers, consider this: radiation decreases as the square of the distance from the source. Say you have 3 or 4 pc's and monitors and you are 2 or 3 feet from the PCs. Then compare this with a person who sits for hours with a laptop on his or her lap, only inches from some important organs. I don't think the world has noticed any ill effects from the laptop users. So I don't think you need worry about sim radiation.

Besides, whatever radiation you get from this is worth it.
