Re: Progress of My 737-500
Ok, not sure if it worked, but I sent you the link via PM, let me know. Regarding FMC, they are interchangeable between the classics and NG's, which is why I was thinking of just purchasing a kit from Opencockpits or the like.
In this photo is an NG FMC fitted into a classic:
Or, if your on a budget (like moi) you could just buy the faceplate with buttons for $100 or so then interface it by hand.
Hope those dimensions work out, I'll have up the MCP drawings soon

Re: Progress of My 737-500
That looks really good! On some photos of CDUs there is a slant downwards towards the screen, while on other the screen is more or less flush against the back of the faceplate like it would be in your model. Is that a difference between CDU variants or specific to aircraft models?

Re: Progress of My 737-500
Yes, this is based on the type of FMC commonly used in the classics, and some 767's, 757's and 747's. The newer variant, whilst able to be retro-fitted, was not as common in the type I am hoping to create. The downwards slant is found in the newer, non-CRT CDU's.
Thanks,
Henri
