HELP WITH BUILDING A DASH 8 COCKPIT
Hello everybody.
I am tryinG to Get some layout information for the Dash 8. Does anybody know if there are any drawinGs/plans showinG positions of GauGes, switches, monitors etc as well as functionality?
There is plenty of this type of info for the 737 which is more popular, but I can't find much on the Dash 8?
Is anybody buildin this cockpit, and can perhaps advise me?
Many thanks.

Re: HELP WITH BUILDING A DASH 8 COCKPIT
I don't recall where I downloaded the attached PDF from but it has a lot of layout views that you might find helpful. It's a little light on dimensional info but does show fair detail on the Q400 cockpit layout and all the panel layouts as well. Hope this helps!

@Sammy...very cool. Here are some photos of our progress. We just started using a real Dash 8 cockpit so not many photos as of May 2014.

Re: HELP WITH BUILDING A DASH 8 COCKPIT
Thanks all, very impressed and envious of both projects. I have since been in touch with a mate who flys the Q400 who is endeavouring to chase down the cockpit cad drawings for me. Not sure how that will pan out but it's exactly what I'm after to get me started.
Thanks for your replies.

Re: HELP WITH BUILDING A DASH 8 COCKPIT
Hi! I see many enthusiasts here for building a cockpit of DASH 8 Q400 which is very exciting. I'm also one of those that's why I made an account on this nice forum. My first thought after reading some threads is that we could eventually put all our informations together and build some kind of information base on a dedicated website.
What do you guys think of the idea ? And what can you already bring to the site ?
Best regards,
Ewan
