Faulty or low quality Saitek Joystick Pro Flight Yoke

    Hi,

After a lot of research and reading a lot of positive reviews on the Saitek Pro Yoke I finally bought one and received it today and, what a disappointment!

When you gently bank in either direction the yoke doesn't move smoothly, but jerks from one position to the next. They're only small jerks but enough to make it impossible to fly with any precision. Is this a faulty yoke or are they all like this?

    Thanks

    Andrew

    Andrew,
They can tend to do that. My one was better after I exchanged it but still not perfect.
There have ben many mods to improve it. Just do a google and should find plenty.

    Thanks Les for your reply.

Being a private pilot I'm looking for something that’s as close to the real thing as possible without spending a fortune.

Are there any other yokes available that are better, like the CH yokes?

    Thanks
