TQ 737 Symulatory motorised : where to start ?
Yesterday , I was able to buy a second handed TQ from Symulatory, model 2007, which had been used for 5 years in a real 737 simulator.
Two years ago it had been replaced by the metal version from FSC and had been standing in a corner.
I have the manual , which only talks about the non-motorised version and I do not have any software.
There are two Phidgets boards inside , servo's etc.
Already I have read about the tq and that some people have replaced the DC motor and built a clutch inside to prevent the motor from burning when accidentaly pushing aginst the servo ( forgotten to Disable AT ..! ) .
I have the FSX drivers for the current motorised FSC tq , but perhaps the hardware is different inside.
The first thing I need to do is open the tq and check if all wiring is still good and if the servo is still working.
All tips/suggestions are very welcome.
