PAINTING THE INTERIOR OF THE COCKPIT?

    Hello everyone.

I need to know the type of finish to be applied to the interior lower sections and roof of my cockpit? A can use emulsion paint but wondered what other builders use? Perhaps oil based flat finish? I notice that some simmers use carpet!
This may seem trivial, but the finish is important.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks.
