    Newbie

Joined the forum because of the amount of technical information available. My main interst is in helicopter simulation. ATM I'm trying to get my head around how best to make and interface cyclic/collective controls to a windoze PC , with FSX as the main sim although I was using X-plane 9 for a while. I have a Bodnar BU0836X in my hand but am slowly trying to sort out what I do with it next.

What helicopter are you trying to simulate?

Although I don't have step by step guides I do have lots of photos of two Bell 206 simulators you might get some ideas from, just click on my website below.

If you have specific questions just ask.

    Thank you .

I have the dodosim 206 in FSX

BK117 by ND in Xplane 9

This is way off thread, but lately I've slowly been resurrecting old game port controls since the hardware is still good. I discovered yesterday that my flyelite multi-engine throttle quadrant has the pots as variable resisitors rather than voltage dividers. So I now can wire them to the Bodnar boards.

    Jess thanks for the link.

I've been to your site many times in the last couple of weeks and I'm going there right now.

I'm envious of two things: your workmanship and your workshop. Both excellent
