If you don't get an answer here you might want to try the FSUIPC Forum at:

Re: Pitch and ROLL out FSUIPC IN VISUAL BASIC 2010 to Arduino

Henk, somehow I thought I had replied to this but obviously I haven't.

Besides Pitch and Roll you will probably need to get the acceleration figures for them as well.

If it's only motion platform info you need then it is all available thru simconnect in FSX but you may have other reasons to particularly want to use FSUIPC.

If simconnect will do, then you might be able to gleam some info for VB.2010 here,,,,
    http://www.mycockpit.org/forums/ardu...ght-forum.html
and just modify the code to suit yourself as a starting point.

    Cheers ,, Jim

Re: Pitch and ROLL out FSUIPC IN VISUAL BASIC 2010 to Arduino

    Hello Jim,

    thanks for the reply.
I want to built a 6 DOF Motion base with Arduino uno.
i tried the jims8buttons and its a start, but I can' t get it load into visual basic 2010.
I don' t know simconnect, but does that mean that when I juse simconnect that I don't have to write a program in visuel basic 2010?

greetings and best whise for 2013

Re: Pitch and ROLL out FSUIPC IN VISUAL BASIC 2010 to Arduino

Henk, if this forum was about cars ,, what you just asked was "whats a steering wheel"
You need to do your own research instead of posting the same question all over the different forums on the net.
    Google is your friend here.
You'll find things out quicker that way.

    SIMCONNECT (FSX only) ,,,
Its a built in system within FSX that can be used for extracting or inputting data and is basically explained in the first paragraph on this page (Which you would have seen) ,,
    http://www.jimspage.co.nz/fsxfs9inouts.htm
    (Read ALL the above page)
    others
    http://www.fsdeveloper.com
    http://www.fsdeveloper.com/wiki/inde...itle=Main_Page
and a million others ,, just google "VB.net simconnect" (without the quotes)

    FSUIPC ,,,,
Is a brilliant add-on by Pete Dowson for MS flightsims (various versions for FSX and earlier) that does the same thing PLUS it has many extra properties that are of use to us. (Key assignments, interface with other popular add-ons, calabrating stuff, etc etc. Have a look here ,,
    http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html
    It's payware tho.
In Pete's SDK there are sample in lots of languages ,, download it and read it..
Also with VB2010 and FSUIPC there is ,,,
    http://stavroskcy.blogspot.co.nz/201...simulator.html

Sooo,,, do a google for ,,
    vb.net simconnect
    vb.net fsuipc
"source code" simconnect (With the quotes)
"source code" FSUIPC (With the quotes)
"source code" FSX (With the quotes)
"source code" FSX motion (With the quotes)
Doing a search for any of them brings up thousands of hits.

    Happy researching ,,, Jim

Some years ago, I have created a program for my platform in VB. The source code is here.

    Maybe it will help you.

    Henk,

I am also not a programmer. If you want to build a 6dof motion base, you better learn. Not many off the shelf solutions for your need.
