Method for self-testing PTS checkride maneuvers for speed/heading/altitude on FSX?

Let's say I'm flying at a particular speed/heading/altitude. I want the system to propose a new speed/heading/altitude, and then I want the system to make a sound or flash a message when I achieve the new speed/heading/altitude correctly.

Does anyone know of a feature in FSX, or an addon, or a hack to do this?

** Reason for wanting this is that I'm practicing for the PPL, and in the PTS checkride it's a typical maneuver; wherein the examiner proposes a new speed/heading/altitude, and then sees how well (smoothly/quickly) you are able to get there. I know it's not the same thing, but I want to practice on my FSX Cessna 172 before doing it on a real aircraft.

I would take a look at FSFlyingSchool add on. it looks like from it's feature list that it may be able to do that
