Miniature 737 cockpit
I am thinking of re-building my shell construction. One thing I have always struggled with are correct dimensions. Starting with components with known exact and reliable dimensions (e.g. MIP, pedestal etc.) I want to assemble all other parts in relation to them. In the process of planning I decided to build a model 1/10th of the original size. I found that a lot of problems I encountered during the build of my first shell could have been avoided if I had planned it with a simple model like this.
Here are some pics.

Next weekend will see the continuation of the model with the windows, more structure parts, side walls and rear parts.
Cheers
Chris

That is a very interesting idea to help with the planning of all the necessary parts. Once i make it through deciding on what i will be building i might just try that
