    Spoilers

    Hello

I want to ask if someone knows about the spoilers (at boeing) and check if the follow are correct:

    1. about the landing the spoilers go to the up position if:

    a.the wheels touch the ground
    b.and the thrust is idle.
c.and the speedbrake lever is at the arm position (if the speedbrake lever is not at the arm position ,when the pilot pull the reverse levers then the lever go out of the detent (mechanically) and go at the UP position)

    is that right?

2.When the airplane is on the ground the spoilers go to the DOWN position if:

a.the pilot give thrust after the landing OR when push down the reverse levers after the landing?
Which of the above is correct?

I have program my speedbrake levers but i don抰 know if i am correct.
Need to add or remove something?
    Thanks for any help.

    Re: Spoilers

Am not 100% sure, but i think that if speedbrake is armed and when tires touch the ground, it goes on. When you brake by toebrakes or lightly push brakes, it goes back to arm position. Am thinking to use servo and sioc for speedbrake.

    Re: Spoilers

    Hi Makoy

No sure about the brakes you say because after the landing the brakes are pressed and this will cause the spoilers go to the down position. I believe this is not good until the plane full stop.

To use servo with sioc is very good idea. they work perfect for me. also and the thrust levers.
I use hitec servos to my new control stand (i re-make it from the beginning) and am very happy.

    Re: Spoilers

Aaarrg, i mess up with autobrakes. Ok, i try again.I looked up from 777 manual and It looks you're right, but landing gear need to be fully on ground. Looks like lever no need to be armed position, not sure about that. Hope to have real 777 pilot here to answer some questions. Lets see when i start with servos, at this moment am busy with overhead sioc to use with Project opensky 777.
