    GoFLight Throttle Quadrant

    Re. GF-TQ6.

This is about 3 years old and gets almost daily use. The levers have become increasingly stiff, and they creak at each extremity of movement. I've been told that the bearing can be lubricated with a smidgeon of silicone grease/gel.

Has anyone done this, or can anyone advise me on how to open the module? There are numerous very small Allen nuts on the base and back plate. Trial and error (most likely) is not the way to go.

    Thanks.

there are 2 screws on the top and I believe 4 or 5 screws along the bottom edge you remove. Once opened you will see the pots. Iv had to open mine up a couple of times due to poor solder joints and untrimmed wires. Never had to lubricate the pots though.
I'm not replicating anything, because I like to fly everything.
