    Phidgets and Lekseecon

    Hi Nico,

I am using Lekseecon with fs2phidgets 4.3.65. I can use variables with bits less than 15 and it is working fine. If I try to use variables with bits more than 15 it does not register. I don't know how to assign these variables. Any ideas ?

    Hi,
Activate the 32 bit lekseecon variable in lekseecon_f.ini
In phidgets use corresponding FSUIPC Offset + 2 bytes. Bits 0 to 15 are now the higher 16 bits of the offset you could not handle first...

    Hi Nico,

I will try to go through an example so that I can understand
Let's say I want to assign variable 706 bit 17 to an LED

Variable no. 706 (Electrics) ------> I will add this in lekseecon_f.ini
then go to phidgets, assign variable 8BE0, then choose 4 Bytes and assign bitmap 17

This is what I am doing but nothing is happening, may be I don't understand

    Re: Phidgets and Lekseecon

    Hi again,

I think I got it all wrong, I will try again for variable 706

First, I will add the variable to Lekseecon_f.ini
then, I will add 2 bytes to the offset of variable 706,i.e 8BE0+2 Bytes
then I will enter the new offset in the phidgets, choose 2 Bytes from the drop down menu, and use bits 0-15 as if they were 16-32,i.e. bit 0 instead of bit 16 and bit 1 instead of bit 17 and so forth, am I right this time ?

    Thanks,

    Re: Phidgets and Lekseecon

    Hi,

I think I got it right this time, this is what I did

1- add the variable to Lekseecon_f.ini
2- convert the offset of the variable from Hex to Decimal, added 2 Bytes then converted back to Hex
3- entered the new offset in the phidgets, and used bits 0 instead of 16 and 1 instead of 17 and so forth,

I did that and it worked for me, I hope this is what you meant,

    Thanks,

Yeah, that's what I did too,
