    I am very interested in this for flight simulation. Any idea when will the hardware be available?

    Yeah, the hardware (Oculus) looks fantastic and noticed it's still in development stage at least I think. Would love to get my hands on one of these.

    I guess this would be great for those that don't use a hardware MIP but unfortunately this would not be much good for those that do. It could be good fun though.

    The biggest downside to any "VR" type gear like this in use with flight sims, is that EVERYONE has hardware, even if it's just a keyboard. Try to find that flaps lever on your keyboard (or insert-your-hardware-thing-here) with something covering your eyes. :^(

    Well, if someone made hand recognition for it, you could actually flick the switches in the 3d cockpit. A glove with force feedback would even allow you to feel the switch.
