    cnc mill beginner question

    s to be running I just loaded up a gcode on mach 3 and it seems to be running everything backwords .opposite the plans. How do I convert my software to go the other way? Please help!!!!

    I believe there's a setting in Mach3 to reverse motor control, it would seem that your motors are running the wrong way. Have a look in your Mach3 manual for Motor Setup, or Drop Gwyn Perrett a mail, he's the CNC GURU around here.

    Goto: Config = Ports and Pins = Click on Motor Ouputs and look for a field called "DIR Low Active" if it has an "X" then click on it to a "Green Tick" for what ever Axis your having the reverse problems with and then click on apply, that should do the trick for you.
