    FSUIPC to Arduino link

    Builders,

Just wanted to update on something I found out. Once upon a time there was a program called CHCOMM3a, that was used as a link between certain FS settings and serial. It appears that it also possesses the ability to speak directly with FSUIPC, with a little work.

It was written in the fs2000 days, but I can confirm this morning that it will connect up to fsx. I will report more as I find it out, but it may allow access to all of FSUIPC offsets for arduino use!

The readme states that it is freeware, so I am submitting it for upload in the downloads forum, if anyone else wants to give it a try. If you do, please share your results!

    Just thought I would share,

    Reid

    Hello Reid,

Can you provide an update on using CHCOMM3a?

    Thanks

    Jake,

I haven't played with it at all. Wish I could help, but sim building went on hold for the Summer. Hopefully I will have a little more time this fall to tinker.

    Re: FSUIPC to Arduino link

    Hi all,

I am developing FSUIPC handlers for various modules in the cockpit. It will support the ARCOM protocol. I am looking for testers and if you are interested you can email me at: ARCOM_by_Marc@gmx.at

    Looking forward to some testers!

    Marc

BTW: My spare-time is limited so I am not the fastest at developing it, but the concept itself is working....

Marc, you have posted your post in the wrong sub-forums.
These sub-forums are for MSFS and FREEWARE.

As you are in this field commercially can you please it post elsewhere.

I'll leave it here for now in case anyone is interested but it will be deleted shortly along with any "follow up" posts.
