    Homebuild HUD?

How can I use a normal glass plate for a HUD (F16 Falcon)? I seek a foil or a coating. A real HUD glass is too expensive.

I suggest using a partially reflective mirror with an anti-reflection coating on the second side. This is the material used for teleprompters. Without the anti-reflection coating you will see annoying ghost images of your HUD data.

You can buy teleprompter mirrors from: http://www.telepromptermirror.com/te...ptersglass.htm

For more information on DIY HUDs see: http://www.mikesflightdeck.com/hud/h..._displays.html
