    Which Projector?

    Hi

With so many projectors to choose from I am after any practical advice on offer.

I am after a single projector to view visuals only. The gauges for my project run on stand alone screens within the cockpit build. The projector would need to be connected as a third display through an active display port adaptor as I am running with ATI eyefinity on 1 PC.

I want something that is not too expensive, and was wondering if it was worth spending the money and going with a 1080P unit or whether I need to just for the standard front view visuals.

I have no experience on projectors, so any help would be most appreciated.

    Any advice?

    Thanks

    Steve

    Re: Which Projector?

As projector resolutions are way behind monitors, pay a little extra and get at least WXGA over XGA SVGA. Your pretty limited at anything over that without spending mega bucks.

The other thing to consider is the throw ratio. If you need the projector to be close to the screen to eliminate shadows, then you'll need a short, or ultra short throw.

    Look at the Mitsubishi EW230U-ST
