CFS (the original!) on VMware / Win XP

    Hello!

I'm a very nostalgic user of MS Combat Flight Simulator. I suppose nobody here plays it any more, but who knows. Well, the game does not detect my old MS joystick on Win 7-64, so I installed it on Win XP Home over VMware Player 4.

It *almost* works: the joystick is detected, the planes fly, but... there are some visualization problems. The most annoying is that, whenever I try to shoot at a plane, a square in the middle of the screen appears, blocking me the vision of the target!

Any clues or tips? Any recommended settings of VMware player 4? I'm running the default parameters.

    Thank you.

Never mind. It was easier than I thought. Just un-check graphics hardware acceleration (in CFS or in VMware) and that's all!
