    Set up for FSX

    Hi,

I have added this post with abit more detail on the kind of setup I envisage. Currently I am using FS( with numerous addons and payware aircraft and getting good framerates etc. However I am thinking of going over to FSX, using the IFly 737 Homebuilders Edition and addon scenery, airports Active Sky, FS Build etc.

Here is what I plan as a basic setup, 2 networked computers

    Computer #1i7 2600K
    Asus P8Z68 mobo
    GTX 460
    8Gb memory

This computer would run FSX, outside view (40" TV) and Airport/scenery Addons only

    Computer #2
    i7 2600K
    Asus P8Z68 mobo
    3 x GTS 450's
    8Gb memory
This computer would run PFD/ND screen, Standby and Upper EICAS screen, CDU screen, Lower EICAS screen, Overhead screen and general screen, Active Sky, FS BUild, Configuration Manager, REX, and hardware etc.

I would be using the new Jetmax Module by FDS for hardware.

I would appreciate any thoughts or comments as to the above configurations - to high end, not enough? lower end system for 2nd computer? Any info would be helpful

    Many Thanks

    Rob
