    Second Displays Card

    Hello everyone,

I have three master cards connected to a single USBExpansion Card as follows:

    J1: In Use (DISPLAY CONNECTED)
    J2: In use (DISPLAY CONNECTED)
    J3: Not in Use
    J4: In Use

So, on other words, there are two displays cards, connected to Master Cards #1 and #2.

The first display card works fine, however, I can't figure out how to configure the second (the one plugged into MC #2).

I have moved the Jumper pin to the "J3" position as per the manual, and have scripted the Displays as displays 16-31, also as per the manual.

Anything I've missed? The displays work fine when tested in Controlador.exe (ie they light up perfectly, so they definitely "work").

    Cheers,

    Jack

    Hi Jack,
You can connect up to 4 Display cards to a Master Card. The numbering is described here.

    Hope this helps.

    regards,
    Nico

Extra: The jumper at a Display card determines the position in the row of 4 cards connected to a MC. You can put a card wherever you want (no special connect order).

Note that since SIOC 4.0 there is a tool called SIOC_Monitor. If you push the button ALL ON you can easily check whether the Display card works or not and by sending a number to a digit you can find out the numbering as well.
